Stephanie Schuricht Joins beatsquares as Head of Audience Development
Berlin, October 1, 2026
Stephanie Schuricht is joining Berlin-based start-up beatsquares as Head of Audience Development. A Berlin native, she comes from Bauer Xcel Media Deutschland in Hamburg, where she most recently led audience development for brands such as “Bravo”, “TV Movie” and “Lecker”, having previously served as Head of SEO. Schuricht brings more than ten years of experience in SEO, e-commerce and performance marketing.
At beatsquares, she is building up the growth team: premium newsletters, podcasts, WhatsApp channels and LinkedIn and Instagram formats are set to win more reach and subscriptions. The appointment is part of the team expansion following the seed round in July.
“Many publishers still produce their content for a single channel. At beatsquares, liquid content is everyday practice: every story is conceived from the start for premium newsletters, WhatsApp, podcasts, LinkedIn and Instagram. And we measure what grows.”
“Until now, audience expertise like Stephanie Schuricht’s was only available to large media houses. With AI, we bring this knowledge directly into the product.”
About beatsquares
beatsquares is the AI operating system for professional communication. It automatically turns existing content into premium newsletters, podcasts, WhatsApp channels and formats for LinkedIn and Instagram. The platform is used by, among others, “Süddeutsche Zeitung”, “Tagesspiegel”, “Ruhr Nachrichten” and Messe Berlin. beatsquares was founded in 2024 by Mark Page and René Bosch; AI expert Peter Dyllick-Brenzinger joined as third founder in 2025. In July 2026, the company closed a $2 million seed round led by IBB Ventures and XTR Capital, with participation from ddvg, V Ventures and business angels.
AI Communications Platform beatsquares Raises $2 Million in Seed Funding

Following launches with Süddeutsche Zeitung, Tagesspiegel, and Messe Berlin, the Berlin-based AI startup is accelerating its growth
Berlin, July 20, 2026
Berlin-based AI company beatsquares has closed a $2 million (approx. €1.8 million) financing round. The round is co-led by IBB Ventures and Berlin-based fund XTR Capital, with participation from ddvg — the largest shareholder of the Madsack Media Group — as well as V-Ventures, the Dutch media impact investment arm of Stichting Veronica, and a number of business angels. The financing follows a $500,000 pre-seed round in October 2024.
beatsquares creates a new connection between content producers and their audiences: AI agents transform and deliver existing content in exactly the format audiences want to receive it, from fully managed social media channels to owned products such as newsletters, podcasts, and on-site offerings.
Early customers include Süddeutsche Zeitung, Tagesspiegel, and Messe Berlin. With the fresh capital, the company plans to accelerate its growth: the funds will go toward expanding the team, advancing the product, and driving international growth.
“Media companies and communications agencies produce first-class content, yet that valuable work reaches only a fraction of its potential audience. We make sure our clients’ research lands where audiences actually are today. The fact that publishers like Süddeutsche Zeitung and Tagesspiegel are taking this path with us proves the demand is real. Now it’s about speed.”
“The communications industry faces a fundamental question: how do you get your content to audiences in a fragmented attention economy? beatsquares answers it with a product that is already in use at leading German publishers and a team that understands the industry from first-hand editorial experience. It was precisely this combination of market access and technology that won us over.”
“I’ve guided many transformation processes — and the media industry is among the most demanding. beatsquares understands that the answer isn’t more content, it’s smarter distribution. That’s a lever that works far beyond journalism.”
About beatsquares
beatsquares is the AI operating system for professional communication. The platform is designed for publishers, communications teams, brands, and thought leaders. It transforms trusted information and in-depth expertise into an integrated media and communications system that runs around the clock.
beatsquares is backed by leading figures from the media, technology, and advertising sectors:
- Miriam Meckel, Professor at the University of St. Gallen, board member of Switzerland’s TX Group, and co-founder of the transformation academy ada
- Dagmar Reim, founding Director-General of German Public Broadcaster rbb
- Stefan Hansen, longtime senior executive in the international Grey/WPP network

beatsquares’ proprietary AI systems bridge the gap between the information organizations already have and the way different audiences actually consume content. beatsquares tailors content to the right audience, format, and platform — in the right tone — and distributes it automatically across the appropriate channels. This allows editorial and communications teams to focus on creating high-quality content.

Miriam Meckel Becomes beatsquares Investor, Advisory Board Established
AI expert and author Miriam Meckel is investing in beatsquares. A former RBB Director-General, an AI executive, and a serial investor are supporting the company on its new advisory board.
Berlin, April 27, 2026
beatsquares is expanding its strategic network: Dr. Miriam Meckel — Professor at the University of St. Gallen, board member of Switzerland’s TX Group, and co-founder of the transformation academy ada — is becoming an investor in the company.
“beatsquares is building a solution that translates existing content into new formats more intelligently while preserving the strengths of editorial teams. At a time when artificial intelligence is profoundly transforming the communications and media industries, that is not only a support for journalistic quality — it also offers a new revenue model. I’m glad to be able to help.”
At the same time, the company is establishing an advisory board to support beatsquares in building an infrastructure for reliable, fact-based information on the internet. Its founding members are:
Dagmar Reim, former Director-General of RBB and member of the board of trustees of the ZEIT-Stiftung Bucerius: “beatsquares addresses a core problem: how does journalism stay fact-based, reliable, and truthful in the age of AI? The company works with strong partners such as ‘Süddeutsche Zeitung’, ‘Tagesspiegel’, and Messe Berlin. Its ethically grounded strategy matters to me — and I am glad to support it.”
Katharina Neubert, Managing Director AI Hub Holtzbrinck in San Francisco: “Used correctly, AI opens up new opportunities for journalism. That beatsquares is using it to strengthen local journalism in particular — under economic pressure yet essential to society — deserves support.”
Dr. Markus Klimmer, serial investor and longtime head of McKinsey’s Public Sector practice: “Strengthening journalism is exactly what a functioning democracy needs. Good journalism does not need philanthropists — it needs new entrepreneurs.”
“Miriam Meckel, Dagmar Reim, Katharina Neubert, and Markus Klimmer are recognized voices on the future of journalism and artificial intelligence,” says René Bosch, co-founder and Managing Director of beatsquares. “Their counsel strengthens our expertise exactly where it is most in demand now and in the future: at the intersection of editorial responsibility, technological innovation, and new market models for trustworthy communication.”
beatsquares helps media companies and businesses make large volumes of existing content visible in a targeted and reliable way, across different formats and audiences. The platform analyzes, curates, and verifies content, then delivers it precisely into new channels and formats.
Together with ‘Süddeutsche Zeitung’, for example, this has produced hyperlocal WhatsApp groups that are populated automatically on the basis of journalistic articles and reports from verified local sources.
In cooperation with Messe Berlin, beatsquares provided fully automated podcasts in four languages — for more than 100,000 attendees of ITB (Internationale Tourismus Börse Berlin).
In total, the AI platform already processes more than 10,000 pieces of content per month. By the end of the year, beatsquares aims to exceed 100,000. These generate several hundred audience-specific outputs based on trustworthy and verified content. The foundation is an LLM-model-agnostic infrastructure that covers the entire process — from content analysis through verification to format-appropriate delivery.
About beatsquares
beatsquares was founded in 2024 by Mark Page (serial founder, formerly Kearney) and René Bosch (former Deputy Editor-in-Chief of BILD). In 2025, AI expert Peter Dyllick-Brenzinger joined the founding duo. The company specializes in fact-reliable AI applications and is supported by MIZ (Babelsberg) and de:hub (Karlsruhe).
